In-Parish Pre-K Rates

Preschool Sibling Discount:
Families with one or more children enrolled in the Grade School and one or more children enrolled in the Preschool will receive a 15% tuition discount of the total Preschool tuition amount due.

*Registration Fee

The Registration Fee is a non-refundable fee of $150 for returning families.  For those returning families registered before March 1st, the fee WILL be applied towards tuition.  For those families returning who apply after March 1st, the fee WILL NOT be applied towards tuition.  We ask that all returning families register by March 1st.  For new families, the registration fee will be $250 which will be applied towards tuition.  If a class is full, students will be placed on a waiting list if they have registered.  In the event that an opening occurs, or that numbers permit the addition of another class section, parents will be contacted.


New Family Referral

For each new family that is referred to St. Thomas the referring family will receive a $400 discount from their tuition.  To learn more about this follow this link: Family Referral program.


In-Parish Tuition Rate

Contributing to the parish at a minimum level of $25 per week or $1,200 per calendar year is required for tuition at the In-Parish level.  For more details please see the school handbook.


The St. Thomas Saints for Tomorrow Fund – Scholarship and Financial Aid Program
The cost of tuition can be difficult to pay for many families.  For those families who are unable to afford an education at St. Thomas, we invite them to apply for help through the St. Thomas Angel Fund.  This fund has been established by the parish through gifts from parishioners, alumnus, and friends to support families with K-8 children to attend St. Thomas School.  Preference for aid will be given first to active St. Thomas parishioners.  All families requesting financial assistance must apply using FACTS financial aid application.  Families applying for financial aid with student in 6-8th grade are also eligible to receive scholarship from the Diocese of Lansing.  New families can apply at any time.  Applications from returning families are due by March 1st, 2017.

The Extended School Program (ESP) is offered to parents who need to have care for their children before and/or after school. ESP is available from 7:00-7:40 a.m. and from 3:05-5:30 p.m. daily.

3:07 pm – 4:30 pm – $6.50 (full rate applies after 4:30p.m.)
3:07 pm – 5:30 pm – $13.00
After 5:30 pm – $1.00 per minute
*Each additional child may attend at 75% the normal rate
(Students must be in attendance at the same time to receive this rate.)
